Tucked away on a quiet street-perfect for families like mine-the hotel is only a 10-minute stroll to the bustling Thaepae Gate. While the ambiance is minimalist, which resonates with my taste, it still manages to feel welcoming. The rooms are well-furnished, featuring effective air conditioning and a spacious layout. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the bathroom had distinct sections for the shower and toilet, a detail often overlooked in Southeast Asia. Although my first room faced the street, I was able to switch to a quieter option, though I still recommend bringing earplugs. There's free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is a plus for planning your daily adventures. With easy access to local attractions and food, along with parking for my rental car, it made for a convenient home base. Antique Chiangmai presents a savvy choice for those balancing luxury and budget on their travels.
